We help couples navigate the changing needs of the marriage and/or family as they began to do the work of recovery and healing from sexual addiction. Should they still live together? How will we handle the finances? How much do they tell their kids about what is happening? Which of their friends or family might be “safe” to let in?
We teach couples to think about their relationship and learn how to care for their relationship, deepen the connection between them and create the safety and trust that enables the couple to repair and work through issues that arise. We use Emotionally Focused Therapy and when appropriate, spiritual practices in our recovery process.
Marriages can flourish and a healthy family is possible. It does take time and concentrated effort to do individual work as well the repair of the marriage. We work with you to go at a pace that works for both of you but want you to know it can take several years to build a healthy connection.
